There was a great turnout in both the Battle Creek and Grand Rapids area, but sadly some people were not able to attend. On October 23rd from 5:30-7:30pm Forest Hills Financial and "The Keeping Your Money Show," hosted a Wine Tasting Event for some of our listeners and clients. It was a California Wine theme, with wine purchased from The Crushed Grape. It was a packed office and the turnout was amazing. This is an event that we are going to be doing again in the future. On July 24th and July 26th Jaime Westenbarger hosted a Halftime Seminar and there was a massive turnout! During the seminar Jaime talked about "The State of the Economy", "Next Half Outlook", "Upcoming Presidential Election" and "Is Your 401k Ok?" We had people travel from all over the State, with some driving more than two hours to join us. Long Term Care is designed to meet both the medical and non-medical needs of people with a chronic illness or disability who cannot care for themselves for extended periods of time. As science and technology advances so does life expectancy, meaning more and more people are living longer and entering an age where they may need consistent medical assistance. A recent analysis indicates that Americans spent $119 billion on long-term care services for the elderly in 2009.[1] Tate Jesky explains that only 7% of the population currently has Long Term Care Insurance, compared with Kiplinger’s study that announced 68% of people in the U.S. will eventually need some sort of LTC.

On May 19th 2012, Forest Hills Financial Inc. and "The Keeping Your Money Show" hosted their third annual Shred Docs Shredding Party. With the help from the great weather, Jaime Westenbarger and Shannon Simon had their biggest turnout ever! Clients, radio show listeners, even people just driving by stopped into the parking lot of Forest Hills Financial to grab a free cup of coffee and shred their personal documents. Jaime and Shannon would like to thank everyone who attended this event and welcome back everyone to next years party!
